Opportunity for free training in Public Health for AHPs

The training has been commissioned by Health Education North West to enable AHPs develop knowledge and skills to address local public health challenges and inequalities.

This is not just for AHPs working in public health roles, but applies to all parts of the AHP workforce.

The health of people in the NW is amongst the poorest in the UK, but AHPs are well placed to lead health improvement work – are you up for the challenge?

Join the growing number of AHPs leading and delivering public health in their own workplace. Want to find out about:
  • How you and your team can address public health challenges and inequalities?
  • How to really make a difference – making small changes to daily interaction with service users?
  • What other AHPs are doing?
  • What support is available to develop your health improvement role?
The theme of the workshop will focus on Making Every Contact Count, Early Years, Older Adults and Emotional Wellbeing – part of a national strategy to mobilise the AHP workforce.

We look forward to supporting this exciting workforce development opportunity – places are limited so please book early.

Several dates are available throughout September at various North West locations – please click here for further details.
