Workshop: Using Social Media in Research

CAHPR Cumbria & Lancashire Regional Hub wishes to thank everyone who took part in our 'Using Social Media in Research' workshop.

The interactive event featured a 'Getting started on Twitter' tutorial, an update on our Social Media project and an overview of Hub activities nationally.

Catherine Ebenezer, a PhD student from the University of Sheffield, also joined the event via Skype to deliver a presentation looking at the use of social media applications within the NHS.

Event: Editor’s ‘Top Ten Tips’ for Publishing Success

CAHPR Greater Manchester Regional Hub is hosting an event designed to help researchers get their work published.

Dr Julie Nightingale, Editor-in-Chief of Radiography and Director in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Salford, will guide you through some of the pitfalls of article preparation, submission, peer review and production, and will offer her 'Top Ten Tips' for maximising the chances of successful publication.

The event takes place at Manchester Metropolitan University on Tuesday, 3rd November, 5.30pm.
